Frequently asked questions

Which thermal fluid do I choose, water or oil?
It depends on the temperature of the process. The water reaches up to about 180 °C in a pressurized circuit; thermal oil can reach up to 300 °C. Below 90°C, open tank water is the easiest option.
What is the difference between direct cooling (WDC) and indirect cooling (WIC)?
In direct cooling, the cooling water enters the same process circuit; In the indirect flow, an exchanger separates both circuits, ideal for high temperatures or poor quality water.
What does multi-circuit control and ΔT measurement provide?
Measuring the flow rate and temperature of each circuit independently allows you to balance the mold, detect blockages and maintain a stable temperature piece by piece. The ΔT, the difference between flow and return, indicates the actual thermal load.
What does it mean that a team is ready for Industry 4.0?
